David J. DiSabato is an accomplished class action attorney with over 20 years of consumer rights litigation experience in the state and federal courts of New Jersey. He devotes his practice to representing consumers in individual and class actions in cases involving violations of State and Federal consumer protection laws. He practices primarily in the area of consumer protection, focusing on cases involving fraudulent sales practices, deceptive advertising, mortgage servicing malfeasance, predatory lending, financial fraud, data breach and privacy actions, credit reporting violations, and home improvement contracts.

Prior to joining The Wolf Law Firm LLC in October 2018, Dave was a founding member of DiSabato & Bouckenooghe LLC, a Morris County-based law firm specializing in consumer protection. With over 20 years of experience in New Jersey, his knowledge of consumer rights litigation is diverse. Dave has been appointed as lead class counsel on cases involving New Jersey and Federal consumer protection laws, including violations of the NJ Consumer Fraud Act and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act. Previous to this, Dave litigated complex commercial disputes and class actions, primarily in the financial services field.

Several of Dave’s cases have been featured in the New Jersey Law Journal, and he has been quoted by various news outlets, including MSNBC, Law 360, Trial Magazine, and Yahoo Finance. He has appeared on News 12 New Jersey, weighing in on consumer issues and forced arbitration.

Dave is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and the American Association for Justice and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Consumers League of New Jersey. Dave is a graduate of Boston University Law School and Tufts University, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
